The Tom of Finland musical tells the story of Touko Laaksonen, his art, and his worldview. The production invites audiences to reflect on whether Laaksonen and his work have been among the most powerful influences in advancing tolerance, equality, and inclusivity worldwide.
The premiere will take place on September 3, 2026, at the Vanaja Hall of Hämeenlinna’s Verkatehdas, as a collaborative production between Hämeenlinna Theatre and Verkatehdas.
