Vanajanlinna Tennis, currently being constructed in the Vanajanlinna area, and HVS-Tennis, Finland’s largest tennis community, are commencing a partnership centred on community, sport, wellness, and experiences.
Scheduled for completion in Summer 2026, Vanajanlinna will feature four ITF-classified Top Clay courts. These courts offer an exceptional playing experience perfectly suited for the Finnish summer climate. The new facility complements the already esteemed and comprehensive resort, notably featuring Finland's only European Tour-level golf course.
The collaboration with HVS and the introduction of new tennis courts inject vitality and energy into Vanajanlinna. This partnership will facilitate the development of events, coaching, and community engagement, seamlessly complementing the resort's high-calibre golf and leisure amenities. The synergy strengthens Vanajanlinna's standing as a hub for sport and well-being, where physical activity, experiences, and community truly form a singular entity.
The partnership unlocks new, diversified opportunities for amateurs, corporations, and resort guests to engage in activity, leisure, and networking. Following this cooperation, Vanajanlinna will regularly host coaching camps, tournaments, corporate events, and combined Golf & Tennis events, uniting different sports and communities.
Ville Puustinen, CEO of Bon Group: “This partnership stems from a shared passion for physical activity and community. HVS brings expertise and energy to Vanajanlinna that enhances the resort's service portfolio and fortifies its position as a central destination for sport, wellness, and leisure. We are building an environment where tennis and golf coexist—a place where people convene to move, enjoy, and experience. This is a tangible part of Bon Group's long-term growth strategy: developing our destinations into experiential complexes built on sustainable values.”
Pekka Mäkelä, CEO of Tali and Taivallahti Tennis Centers and Executive Director of HVS-Tennis: “We are proud and delighted that our home court is expanding. We gain access to a stunning environment and new collaborative opportunities for both our corporate communities and tennis enthusiasts. We can now offer new types of experiences to our entire community.”
